It Was A Hoot!

Twas' the night before Halloween,

with not a costume in sight.

I searched high and low,

but nothing seemed right.

..................

When suddenly I stumbled

across this great blog.

I knew then and there

that my problem was solved.

.................

So I stayed up all night

with some "feathers" and glue

I morphed into an owl

and away I flew

I hit all the best parties

and hung out with some bats

My Dracula husband

thought I was all that.

Now I'm done rhyming

but just look and see,

my costume was so great

I was even on TV.
